This piece started with a simple idea: what if identity didn’t feel the need to explain itself?

At the center is an androgynous figure—fluid, confident, and unconcerned with labels—a quiet nod to the transgender community. No grand speech, just presence.

Naturally, I surrounded them with Prayer Plants… those dramatic little things that “pray” on schedule. The irony wasn’t lost on me. A symbol of ritual framing someone who exists beyond it.

It’s a little reverent, a little rebellious—and a reminder that not everything meant to grow is meant to fit neatly.
